Here is some helpful information to keep in mind about silver. I use .925 sterling silver or 14k gold filled beads and clasps. All gemstones and pearls used are of the highest quality and vary in color, size and shape.

• All silver Tarnishes (if not properly cared for)
  Tarnishing is a natural process caused by oxidation. First the tarnish will take on a brownish hue and than it will turn the jewerly black. It does not damage the silver, and can easily be removed with a soft treated polishing cloth. If you polish your silver regularly, you can prevent build up of tarnish!
• Wear your tags every day and the less chance there will be for tarnish build up.
• Remove your tags when cleaning with harsh chemicals.
  Tags will discolor if exposed to bleach and most household chemicals.
• Storage
  You should store your tags in the small plastic bag provided to you by Pearl Girl Tags. The bag contains a small anti-tarnish strip which will help prevent tarnish build up.
• Cleaning
  The best way to clean your silver is by the polishing cloth provided with your order. It is not a good idea to use dips or harsh chemicals it may damage any gemstones or pearls used in some jewerly.
