My name is Lisa Patterson I am owner/creator of Pearl Girl Tags jewelry. I live in the beautiful Columbia Gorge with my amazing husband and our three children. I was inspired to start beading by our grandma Rose; she is 86 and still has a passion for beading. Her bead collection is amazing, I feel in love with the beauty of her beads, vintage, glass, beautiful stones and true pearls. I loved the way they felt in my hands and I loved the beautiful things that she created with them. I started collecting my own beads and designing my own creations. A couple of years ago, my mom bought me my first stamp set for my birthday. After that my passion for metal and stone evolved.

                I have always been a creative person but, I fell in love with working with metal and stone. I have never had any formal training or classes; it has just come very naturally to me. I am the ‘jump in and learn as you go’ type you could say. This created a work environment that allowed for me to raise our children in the comfort of our home.

                I started making and designing more and more jewelry that I didn’t know what to do with! I would wear a necklace or earrings running errands and get compliments on it, and started selling a few pieces to friends. Things just kind of traveled by word of mouth and I realized that I needed to have an outlet for people to go to buy my pieces. That is how Pearl Girl Tags came about. I started an online boutique in the summer of 2008 and have had good feedback from it. I have done a couple local ‘shows’, a few house parties, and am in an art gallery in Hood River, and soon to be in a gallery in Ketchum, Idaho. So, I am ready and excited to get my name out there and for my business to grow.

                The things that have inspired me; my family, my children laughing, the love of my life, my husband, Cold snowy days and warm fires, grey skies and pounding rain, spring crocuses,  picnics by the creek, and the beauty of women everywhere. I think that my jewelry is a bit like me, clean and simple yet bold and strong. Every piece that I create is original and hand crafted by myself using sterling silver, recycled 14k gold and the best stones that I can get my hands on. So, Thank you for your time, browse through my web page and feel beautiful.
